Pay Range: open Duration: 11/02/2009   to 03/01/2010 LOCATION   Carlsbad, CA 92008 Duties: Synthesis and purify transfection lipids. Maintain lab equipments. Track compound information in database. Present data in team meetings Required Skills The candidate should have strong background in synthetic organic chemistry. Multiple step and parallel synthesis experience is a must. Experience in LCMS, HPLC, and Biotage is desirable. Experience in medicinal chemistry or combinatorial chemistry (preferred in industry) is strongly favored. Basic understanding of molecular and cell biology is a plus but not required Education: M.S. in organic chemistry with 5+ years of work experience, or Ph.D. in organic chemistry with 1+ year work experience
