Position Title: 10707-Electro-Mechanical Technician 1
Location: San Leandro,CA

Pay Rate: 35.00-45.00

Contract Duration: 5 Months-Extension

This is a level 3-4 position. Assemble large and small mechanical and electrical assemblies, includes both bench top component and module assembly, in addition, candidates should be:
- familiar with common mechanical and electrical tools, test equipment (calipers and volt/ohm meter, etc.)
- proficient in circuit board soldering techniques (will receive specific soldering training/certification for this assignment)
- able to understand simple and complex verbal English instructions
- able to clearly communicate, read, and follow written English directions and mechanical diagrams and electrical schematics
- a US citizen
- fork lift certified (this is a plus)
- able to work a 9/80 work schedule starting at 6:30 am
- able to work overtime as necessary

The candidates will only do some, late in the assignment forklift work ~10% of the time (when this is required). To use a forklift here a, the individual must have a Driver’s license, pass classroom training and pass a forklift driving test.
