Position Title: 15217-Electrical Engineer III
Location: Corning, NY

Pay Rate: $55.57

Contract Duration: 4-Months


·         Manager Must Haves: -

·         Knowledge of electrical system design and equipment, including solid-state components. - Experience with short circuit current, coordination, Arc Flash, and protection & control studies.

-          Experience with power quality measurements, analysis, and corrective actions.

-          Usable knowledge of EasyPower or SKM electrical simulation tools

-          Usable knowledge of the following standards:

·         NFPA 70, National Electric Code NFPA 70B, Recommended Practice for Electrical Equipment Maintenance NFPA 70E, Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace

-          Usable knowledge of MS Office suite of products Education: BS in Electrical Engineering only .

·         Experience: 7+ Years

·         Travel: Candidates will be expected to travel both domestically and internationally.

·         Trips will vary in length but can be up to 4 weeks at a time.


Working Hours: Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm (can be flexible)

Summary: Encompasses the scientific technology of electricity, esp. the design and application of circuitry and equipment for machine control, communications, computer electronics, and power generation, transmission and distribution.

·         Uses the principles and theories of science, engineering, and mathematics to provide technical support to engineers involved in the design and development of control systems, communication systems, power generation systems, and related instrumentation.

: Requires complete understanding and application of standard engineering or scientific theories, concepts, principles, and techniques.

·         General knowledge of other related disciplines. Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.

·         Solutions are imaginative, thorough, and practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. Works under minimal direction.

·         Independently determines and develops approaches to solutions. Work is reviewed generally upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

·         Frequent inter organizational and/or external contacts.

·         Represents the organization. Strong working relationships outside of immediate work group.
