Shift – Swing (10% differential rate)
Work on complex assignments using manual and CNC mills and lathes producing high precision machined parts.
Working knowledge of machining characteristics of typical aerospace materials. Design and fabricate fixtures and special purpose tooling.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of shop math and trigonometry.
Ability to program, setup, operate and make tool adjustments on CNC mills & lathes.
Ability to read and understand shop work orders, drawings, ECOs, standards, procedures and Material Safety Data Sheets.
Measure and inspect dimensions on completed parts with knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing,(GDT).
Perform deburr and cleanup on completed parts.
Comply with all safety requirements.
Maintain current, and comply with all company, shop and EH&S policies and procedures.
High school or equivalent with journeyman apprenticeship or equivalent.
5 years minimum of machine shop experience including 2 years of CNC machining experience.
Basic computer knowledge.
