Job Description:

 The project manager will function as a cross-functional core team leader to oversee the scope, budget, timelines and logistics of one or more projects that lead to next generation sequencing products that meet our customers’ expectations. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members in order to deliver project per PAC (Product Approval Committee) contract. The project manager will also communicate closely with the executive team to ensure the business and strategic alignment for the CSD business division.



Responsibilities include:

1.Managing the project timelines, deliverables, updates and progress of the core team

2.Work with Product Manager and Core Team Leads to schedule and plan core team meetings and document action items and ensure follow through by all team members

3.Work with interdisciplinary project team members to make sure they are delivering their work product and meeting deadlines

4.Project Planning and project management from program details to program strategy

5.Developing and implementing project management tools to facilitate communication of program objectives through product launch


Requirements and Skills:


1.Degree in engineering or a scientific discipline (molecular biology, biochemistry, or genomics)


2.Minimum of 2 years of project management experience with track record of managing projects from inception through product launch


3.Ability to work effectively with people at all levels within the organization


4.Outstanding project management, organization and communication skills


5.The ability to influence project team members from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines to successfully achieve project objectives
