Position Title: 15491-Facilities Technician I
Location: Fairport, NY

Pay Rate: 27.00

Contract Duration: 1 year

Working hours: Monday - Friday; 7am - 3:30pm (client can be a little flexible with start and end times)
OT - Expected. Candidates may be asked to work an occasional day on the weekend if equipment is down.

Candidate will be performing mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance requiring a mechanical skill set that would include:
- CNC repair (Satisloh, OptiPro optical equipment, Fadal, Haas Mini Mills etc…)
- Bridgeport mills, Hardinge lathes, Haas Lathe, Horizontal grinders.
- Motor and gear box driven optical lapping equipment as well.

Must possess excellent customer service skills as well, job requires frequent interaction with operators.

Encompasses construction, space utilization, scheduling of preventative maintenance, repair, and compliance with safety policies and regulations for buildings and grounds. Responsible for planning plant, office and production equipment layouts for economy of operation and maximum utilization of facilities and equipment. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Develops criteria and performance specifications for facilities and equipment required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes.

Requirements: Requires moderate understanding of the general aspects of the job and a familiarity with terminology and procedures. Follows previously defined procedures. Proposes and implements basic solutions to routine problems. Refers atypical or complex problems to others. Works under close site supervision. Provided instructions for routine work. Recommends actions to improve efficiency. Able to perform duties within prescribed time frames and maintain confidentiality. Contacts are primarily within the immediate work group.

Education: AAS Desired
Experience: 1-3 Years

Manager Must Haves:

- Repairs and preventive maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
