Position Title: 10814-IT - Project Manager Analyst - Mid
Location: San Ramon, CA

Pay Rate: $75/hr DOE

Contract Duration: 1 year

Exempt position

High Level Responsibilities:

  • Maintain project controls through a complete and thorough understanding of project needs, goals, and responsibilities.
  • Manage scope, budget and change controls associated with project.
  • Establish and maintain a positive work environment that encourages the accomplishment of all project goals.
  • Monitor project milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of project schedule. Identify ways to resolve schedule issues.
  • Keep management aware of the situation.
  • Assess variances from the project plan for business related activities and develop and implement changes as necessary to ensure the project remains within specified scope and is within schedule, cost and quality objectives.
  • Establish and maintain a positive work environment that encourages the accomplishment of all project goals. Provide feedback as it pertains to project performance.
  • Build a climate that encourages safety consciousness and taking accountability for actions.
  • Take a proactive approach to identifying and correcting safety hazards and work practices within the workplace.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing, implementing common PMO processes such as:
  • Reporting • Governance • Budget Tracking • Benefit Tracking
  • Identifies processes for improvement, analyzes gaps between current processes and the desired state and assists the team to reach desired state
  • Ongoing Reporting Responsibilities
  • Steering Committee and other Company Leadership status reporting
  • Status Reporting across all workstreams
  • Ongoing Governance Process Responsibilities
  • Issue /Risk/Assumption/Decision Management
  • Scope Governance Process
  • Understands Company Project management processes and standards and ensures all required PMO standards are implemented and adhered to
  • Leads all ongoing activity related to EPC reporting and presenting
  • Update MS Project as directed and needed
  • Monitors milestones and deliverables to identify issues early, develops workarounds and communicates/ escalates to leadership and sponsors as applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring the execution and continuous improvement of all established processes
