Pay Range: $23.30-$24.81/Hour Duration: 10/1/2009 – 05/31/10    LOCATION Carlsbad, CA Duties: The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day management of high visibility product lines within the Applied Biosystems and Invitrogen portfolios of Life Technologies. You will work with internal stakeholders from manufacturing, quality, marketing and others to ensure continued customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for achieving the revenue targets for the product lines. You will also contribute to the strategic roadmap of the product lines and drive the execution of development projects that contribute to the strategic goals. You will be responsible for partnering with marketing and the field organization to achieve successful go-to-market strategies, including pricing and positioning.  Required Skills Analytical analysis; familiar with development of business strategies 1. Must have a winning attitude, strong sense of ownership, and desire to drive business growth. 2. Excellent interpersonal skills with capability to navigate complex business structure to achieve business objectives. 3. A BS/BA degree in a biological science, with strong analytical skills required. An advanced degree or commensurate experience is highly desirable. 4. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required. Ability to travel 20%, some international.  Education: BA, BS. Business experience (course work or practical) must be demonstrated. .
