Duties:
Primary Responsibilities
• Accurately process orders from customers received via phone, fax, email, or other electronic means for all NAFO custom products.
• Process replacements and returns for oligo/assays products.
• Document and closes customer complaints.
• Maintain status report for custom orders.
• Respond to customer inquiries via various methods.
• Manage department voicemail box.
• Work with the core lab to clear orders and create deliveries.
• Answer incoming calls from Que system call center.
• Manage and maintain open orders report.
• Provide web support to help navigate through company website.
• Responsible for maintaining and following through on scheduling reports.
Secondary Responsibilities
• Light filing
• Document and forward customer complaints.
• Provide support for inside and Field sales.
• Provide support for core lab for customer products.
• Initiate customer profiles.
• Collect end-user data.

Job Skills
• Strong written communication skills to write business correspondence, activity documentation, and routine project reports.
• Verbal communication skills to articulate clearly and effectively with external and internal customers and company employees.
• Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Analytical skills to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where limited standardization exists.

• Familiarity with the SAP system and Personal Computer is a plus.
• Solid understanding of the order administration process and system. Additional Job Abilities
• Ability to read and interpret general business documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, customer purchase orders, general terms and conditions, and procedure manuals.
• Understand customers and resolve issues
• Compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
• Apply commonsense and interpret a wide variety of instructions and requests furnished in written or oral form.
• Be able to work independently and appreciate the requirements and benefits of team efforts.
• Ability to grasp product information and communicate information to customers and potential customers in an easily understood manner.
• Instill customer satisfaction that is recognizable and valuable to the customer.
Education:
• High School Diploma • College degree preferred • 1-2 years of customer service experience. • Experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel) • Experience with electronic document imaging software preferred
