TITLE: Web Production Designer

BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST REQUIRED! Support the eBusiness web channel plan and the strategic and tactical web initiatives working in conjunction with market development teams, Marcomm, Brand, CRM, IT to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of web design/front end development, utilising CSS, javascript libraries, Flash and be able to display a proven track record of successful design implementations.

Skills:
• Assist in developing and designing web marketing content and HTML web pages.
• Assist in building new pages and imagery using company Content Management System, and Web design software and graphic design software as needed.
• Optimize images for web and create layouts of web pages.
• Analyze, test and debug web pages and content to ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise.
• Assist in communicating and maintaining web standards, site architecture, navigational guidelines, based on best practices and company styles.
• Manage workflow and maintain tight deadlines of multiple, simultaneous projects.
• Provide periodic updates to the team on the status of assignments.
• May include coordination of work with external vendors to ensure quality and consistency.
Research, track and stay abreast of new web trends to provide input in developing optimized solutions and analyzing business requirements.
Education:
• Requires a BA or BS in Graphic Design or equivalent education and experience
• 3+ years of industry experience with consumer-facing web sites • Strong understanding & experience with HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript libraries (JQuery, Spry etc)
• Strong understanding of Flash development (ActionScript 1,2,3, AJAX a plus)
• Strong understanding of web optimization techniques • Fluency in Adobe CS3+ (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash)
• Experience developing for cross-browser compatibility (including IE, Mozilla/Firefox, Safari , Opera, Chrome)
• Experience working with content management systems (for example DAY Communique)
